Refund Policy

Overview

At JR Tax & Travel Ltd., we strive to deliver exceptional service for all your travel, visa, and financial needs. Because of the nature of the services we provide, including booking with third-party suppliers and submitting documents directly to government departments, our refund policies vary by service type. Please read our guidelines below.

1. Travel & Tour Packages

For custom holiday packages, flight tickets, and tour bookings:

  • Flight Bookings: Airline ticket refunds are subject strictly to the terms, conditions, and cancellation policies of the respective operating airline. JR Tax & Travel Ltd. charges a service fee for managing cancellations/refund claims.
  • Tour Cancellations: For tour packages, cancellations made 30 days or more before the departure date will receive a full refund minus a non-refundable booking deposit. Cancellations made within 15-30 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made under 15 days from departure are non-refundable.

2. Visa & Passport Services

For India Visa, OCI, Indian Passport Renewal, PCC, and other visitor visas:

  • Government Fees: All government, consular, and BLS center fees are strictly non-refundable once submitted to the respective authority.
  • Service Fees: Our consulting and form-preparation service fees are non-refundable once we have reviewed, compiled, and processed your paperwork, regardless of the government's final decision on your visa or passport application.

3. Tax Return Filing Services

Our tax consultation and return filing fees are billed based on the time spent compiling and submitting your return to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Once a return has been electronically transmitted (E-filed) to the CRA, our fees are strictly non-refundable.

4. Money Transfer & Courier Services

  • Ria & MoneyGram Transfers: Money transfers can only be cancelled and refunded if the funds have not yet been collected by the receiver or deposited into the receiver's bank account. Service fees for transfers are non-refundable.
  • DHL Courier Packages: DHL courier shipments are non-refundable once the package has been accepted and processed by our logistics representative.
